From Collegiate Athletics to 22+ Years in Real Estate

Scott’s work ethic and team-first mindset go back to his college days, where he played baseball and met his wife, who played volleyball. Married for 24 years, the couple has built a life in Coeur d'Alene centered around family, hard work, and community involvement.

Scott's wife Kristin works as a Pediatric Oncology RN at Sacred Heart hospital and as a clinical instructor at Washington State University. (Fun fact: she’s also the 2010–2011 Amateur World Champion in Muay Thai Kickboxing. Whenever friends joke and ask Scott if his wife can kick his butt, his go-to answer is: “She’s tough as nails, but I’ll still roll her up into a pretzel in a moment’s notice!” (famous last words)

Athletics also defined their family life as they raised their two sons, traveling across the country to support their college baseball careers: Troy (23), CDA High School graduate, pitched at Spokane Falls CC and WSU before finishing at Southern Illinois University as an All-Missouri Valley Conference Second Team starting pitcher. He’s now back home in North Idaho starting his career as an electrician, where he works for Teremark Electrical Group. Ty (20), a Lake City High School graduate, played infield (3B & SS) for Spokane Falls CC this past season. He made a big jump and transferred to Riverside Community College in Southern California to continue his athletic pursuit. He aspires to play D1 baseball like his older brother.
